Virus Genomics and Evolution Conference
Virtual and in-person event will address the fundamental questions of viral evolution, transmission and pathogenesis. It will showcase advances in viral genomics, bioinformatics and sequencing technology as well as methods for large viral dataset analysis. Virtual attendance is free for registered attendees from low and middle income countries and virtual registration is required by 1 November.

Seeking bold ideas that address the human health impacts of climate change in low- and middle-income countries. These innovative solutions are expected to address the adaptation gaps and build resilience against the effects of climate change on the human health and wellbeing of underserved communities. Next Generation Sequencing Course
The programme will include theoretical and practical information on next generation sequencing systems currently available and those on the near horizon. Technologies will be chosen from short- and long-read sequencing platforms including PacBio, Illumina Miseq/HiSeq and Oxford Nanopore MinION. Applicants should be postdoctoral scientists, senior PhD students, or junior faculty members actively engaged in or soon to commence research involving next generation sequencing instrumentation.
